The healing springs of Rajecke Teplice are appreciated since 14th century. The acrato-thermal springs with water of 38°C are used for a variety of physical dysfunction, degenerative, inflammatory, nerve and respiratory diseases as well as for occupational diseases.

TRENCIANSKE TEPLICE
The well-known anti-rheumatic spa from the 13th century belongs to the most attractive and visited spas in Slovakia. This mostly modernised health resort is able to accommodate more than 1000 guests and offers a complex of balneological therapies of a very high medical standard.

The spa town is also known for the International Film Festival "Art Film" which takes place every June. Many famous actors (e.g. Jean-Paul Belmondo, Sophia Loren, Franco Nero, Ornella Muti, Catherine Deneuve, Gina Lollobrigda, Annie Girardot, Geraldine Chaplin, Michele Placido,...) visited Trencianske Teplice during the festival.
