FOLKLORE TRADITIONS IN SLOVAKIA

You will visit typical Slovak village Zdiar, attend the wedding ceremony, where also you will be dressed in national costumes and eat traditional food. Another day a little bit of water! Rafting on wooden rafts, picnic on the river bank accompanied by folklore music. The next day you can observe milkmaid and production of cheese in "salas" - typical ship farm and taste "zincica" and "ostiepok". Evening will be spent at "Koliba party" in typical Slovak restaurant. What comes next? Vychodna village is a folklore symbol of Slovakia. Visit to Vlkolinec - wooden village entered in the World cultural heritage list UNESCO, Cicmany village and medieval town Trencin. SPIS - TUSCANY OF SLOVAKIA
During this five-day tour you will explore the beauty of the Spis region and High Tatras. Tour starts in Bratislava. Next day you will visit mining town Banska Stiavnica. Town and technical surroundings were entered in the World cultural heritage list UNESCO in 1993. Continue to manor house in Antol, gold and silver-mining town Kremnica and Banska Bystrica. En route to Low Tatras you will stop at Vlkolinec - reservation of folk architecture entered in the World cultural heritage list UNESCO and continue to High Tatras. Next day you can admire the Gothic and Renaissance jewels of Spis region: Levoca, Spiska Nova Ves, Spiska Kapitula, Spis castle - gothic ruins of the largest medieval fortification in Central Europe entered in the World cultural heritage list UNESCO. FESTIVAL OF GHOSTS AND MONSTERS AT CHATEAU BOJNICE
Do you believe in ghosts? No? A big mistake!!! Every year a "summit" of all ghosts and monsters is held at chateau Bojnice. This day whole chateau is theirs. Feel the fear and haunted atmosphere of the chateau until the last witch flies away. If everything goes well and everybody survives, the tour continues to Trencin, Bratislava and Small Carpathian wine region together with wine tasting and dinner.

You will also visit Bardejov spa and its beautiful colonnade. City tour of Kosice, the metropolis of Eastern Slovakia, visit to the Gothic Cathedral of St. Elisabeth and to the underground catacombs in the old city centre. Continue to Presov. Walking tour including visit to the wine museum and wine tasting! You will enjoy a beatiful view from Krasna Horka castle - a fortification, which was very important during the Turkish invasion in the 14th century. Later it became a residence of the Andrassy noble stock. Another stop will be at chateau Betliar, which was built in style of the French Renaissance chateau and is surrounded by a magnificent park.
